Am I vegetarian? No, I’m not.
That doesn’t mean I’m selfish or that I don’t respect animals.
That doesn’t mean I only eat steaks and ham and cheese. Or that I can’t eat a meal without fish or meat.

That means simply that I eat meat and fish. I know they are nutritious and good for me in a smart amount. Proteins, micronutrients and healthy fats. And yeah, I like the taste. Does it make me a bad person? Does it remove my “right” (it’s more a duty) of fighting for animal rights and ecology? I don’t think so.

Of course avoiding eating meat and fish for animal benefit is truly admirable, but you’re not less ecologist or animal lover if you eat animal products.

Yeah, a good diet is mostly based on plants, with quite daily, meat and fish. And if you have the luck of being able to cook and purchase your own food, you’ll do well in looking for “sustainable fishing/haunting” products, as well as freedom-raised hens’ eggs or sustainable daily. You’ll eat fish, meat, eggs and daily. Maybe a bit more expensive, but you’ll help kind humans who want to improve animals’ lives, and help humanity to create a perfect symbiosis among all the living creatures.

You can’t honestly claim to love animals when you pay to have them tortured and killed.

“Free range”, “local”, “cage free”, whatever you want to call it, it’s all bullshit. The animals are being exploited and having what’s theirs, like their eggs, milk, and babies, taken from them for our benefit. Then when they’re no longer of use to us we send them to be slaughtered in the very same slaughterhouses as conventional factory farm raised animals.

I am so tired of non-vegans trying to masquerade exploitation and eventual murder as “symbiosis”. How is that in any way symbiotic? How does that benefit anyone besides humans? It doesn’t. This welfare lie needs to stop.
